Kentfa.com: You’ve had along career within the game. Who have you played for?
Alan Walker: I have played for a number of clubs. I have played for Mossley, Stockport, Bangor, Telford, Lincoln, Millwall, Gillingham, Plymouth, Mansfield, Barnet, Sittingbourne, St Leonards, Walton and Hersham, Fisher, Chatham and Maidstone. Hopefully I have remembered them all.
Kentfa.com: What is your first football memory?
Alan Walker: Watching my Dad who was a pro at Blackpool.
Kentfa.com: How did you become involved in football?
Alan Walker: Through my dad who was a great player. He was in the Blackpool squad for the Matthews FA Cup final but substitutes were not common back then and unforunatly he did't get a run out.
Kentfa.com: Who was your inspiration when playing?
Alan Walker: Bryan Robson
Kentfa.com: Who was the best player you played with?
Alan Walker: I played along side Teddy Sheringham at Millwall
Kentfa.com: What is the most memorable game you were involved in?
Alan Walker: The most memorable game was when I was at Braford City stadium, Valley Parade. It was terrible tragedy.
Kentfa.com: What is the funniest moment of a game you have been involved in?
Alan Walker: Watching our Medical and First Aid tutor Mal Watkins being knocked out by a ball in the face. He had to be stretchered off! It is great because I have it on video.
Kentfa.com: What do you enjoy about being Head of Coaching education for The Kent FA?
Alan Walker: I enjoy being involved in the game. I love meeting lots of like minded people and being part of a great team at the Kent FA.
Kentfa.com: What is your aim from now until you retire?
Alan Walker: To enjoy myself.
