Grassroots Football:
Two of our Kent clubs have now achieved the prestigious Deaf Friendly Football Club award from the National Deaf Children’s Society. This award ensures that a club offers appropriate football coaching for deaf players. Club coaches are given the opportunity to attend the ‘Coaching Deaf Footballers’ course and many clubs have signers to help with communication at training and matches. The clubs are committed to creating equal playing and coaching opportunities for deaf people.
