The FA has granted dispensation to allow girls to play in all youth age groups. Girls can play as part of mixed teams or they can enter into the league as an all girls team. We currently have two all girls teams in the league this season who are showing the boys how to play football! There are over 45 disability football teams in Kent, all of which welcome female players to come along and play football.
We also have a girls Kent deaf squad who represent Kent at regional festivals. Most recently Kent entered a girl’s team into the National Deaf Children’s Society tournament in Coventry where they did extremely well to finish runners up after an eagerly contested final against Everton Girls FC.
So come on girls…. whatever your ability or impairment come and get involved!!!
