Kent Junior Pan Disability League

In Association with Goals Soccer Centre, Dartford

The second rounds of games in the Kent Junior Pan Disability League (2007/2008) were played on Sunday 9th March 2008 at Goals Soccer Centre in Dartford.

It was yet another great day of football with 7 clubs and 16 teams competing in the second league meeting.

Despite the unpredictable British weather it was lovely to see so many supporters coming to watch the event. It was also very nice to see players from all teams being encouraged and applauded, regardless of what team they played for. The sportsmanship shown by all the players was also commendable. There was some very good football played and an enjoyable day was had by all the players and supporters.

This is the second season of the Kent Junior Pan Disability League which has been established by the Kent County FA in the under 11 and under 16 age groups

The teams competing in the three divisions are as follows:

Under 11’s Division:

  • Invicta Valiants FC
  • Charlton Athletic FC

With the league going from strength to strength in its second season more players are participating than ever before.

The dates of this season’s league meetings are 10 February, 9 March, and 27 April 2008.

The league is currently being reviewed by the Kent Disability Football Partnership for the 2008/2009 season with more teams looking to enter as well as looking into setting up a Girls U16 section.

In the close season teams can also look forward to a return of the Champions Cup on Sunday, 11 May 2008. This year’s event is based on a Euro 2008 theme, with teams from all over the South East region competing for the Champions Cup and the Champions Plate.
