The Kent County FA rewarded the achievements of the county volunteer workforce at the ninth annual awards evening held at Gillingham Football Club, KRBS Priestfield Stadium on 8 September 2009.
The County FA 2009 Football Workforce Awards is a celebration of the unsung heroes who work tirelessly to ensure that the excellent reputation that the county has at grassroots level is maintained and the evening witnessed clubs, schools and volunteers receive awards for their contributions.
Kent County FA Chairman, Barry Bright reinforced the importance of the evening by saying "It was pleasing to see a packed audience for the opportunity of the County to give credit and thanks for some of the volunteer force who have assisted in ensuring that Kent football moves forward within all spheres of its strategy".
