Sevenoaks Town FC welcomed club coaches to an exclusive FA Charter Standard Workshop.
Over twenty nine coaches attended the three hour event which was delivered by FA Regional Coach Development Manager, Chris Whalley.
The theory and practical workshop demonstrated how shooting practices can be developed regardless of ability, age and skill.
Paul Lansdale, Sevenoaks Town Juniors FC, praised the evening by saying ‘It is great to get new ideas and share practices and experiences with other club coaches. All the club workshops are of real benefit to the club and the volunteer workforce”.
The club in-service training events are one of many benefits that the County FA offers to new and existing FA Charter Standard Clubs with clubs receiving Umbro discount, an FA Charter Standard plaque, the use of The FA Crest and continued coaching support.
Kent County FA Football Development Officer, Lee Suter went on to say “As a County FA we are committed to the continued personal development of the FA Charter Standard volunteer workforce and it was pleasing to see so many coaches dedicated to the event”.
