The Kent U17 Disability Centre of Excellence squad had a very successful trip to Middlesex to play in round four of the South East regional fixture programme.
The ten man strong squad put in some fantastic performances despite it being a very wet and windy afternoon. The team arrived suited and booted and eager to showcase their skills against strong opposition. The event which was held at University of Brunel involved matches against Surrey FA, Middlesex FA and Norfolk FA. The whole squad worked hard for each other and scored some fantastic goals including a brilliant headed effort from central midfielder Harry Cheeseman. Kent came away with a very impressive record of five wins and one draw which is testament to their work rate and team spirit. Head Coach Matt Wood was delighted with the performances and also their professionalism on and off the pitch.
Regional FA scout Steven Bartlett was also in attendance looking to tap up talented players for the England squads.
Kent play host for the final festival in the fixture programme which will be held at Cobdown Sports and Social Club in Aylesford on Saturday 27th March from 12 -3pm. Spectators are very welcome to come down and show their support.
