Kent FA honours football heroes

11:49 AM, Wednesday, 06 October 10. Volunteers

The annual Kent FA Volunteer Workforce Awards ceremony took place at Princes Park in Dartford on Tuesday 5th October.

The awards, presented by McDonald's, honour volunteers from across Kent for the dedication they show in supporting grassroots football in the county.

The evening is one of the highlights of the Kent FA calendar and it's a chance for staff to say a huge thank you for all the incredible hard work that goes on in Kent to provide the best possible experience for everyone who plays football.

Kent FA's Lee Suter, who organised the event, said "It's been a fantastic evening and, at some points, quite emotional! I'd like to thank everyone who nominated volunteers and coaches from clubs across Kent and once more congratulate this year's winners. They truly deserve to be recognised for what they do for grassroots football."

The awards were presented by former Chelsea defender and 2018 World Cup Bid Board member, Paul Elliott.
