Football Services Officer - Competitions

Kent FA is seeking to recruit a Football Services Officer for Competitions to join the team at Invicta House
Closing date: 12 noon on Thursday 4th January 2018
Salary: £19,000 - £22,000
This role reports directly to the Football Services Manager.
The successful applicant will:
• Manage and lead the county cups and representative football teams.
• Assist in the efficient running of the Football Services department.
• Support delivery of The FA National Game Strategy in partnership with key stakeholders.

The successful applicant will need to be passionate about and committed to the development of football at a local level; be able to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines. They will need to demonstrate exceptional customer service, be able to work as part of a team with excellent planning, communication and presentation skills.
The post is full-time and based at Kent FA’s Headquarters in Ditton, near Aylesford.

The post requires an Enhanced Criminal Records Check and checks against the Barred Lists and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974). Therefore all convictions including spent convictions that have not been subject to filtering by the DBS should be declared.
