Kent U18s Defeat London in League

Kent FA U18s win back to back league matches with a 3-0 win

Kent FA under 18s are one match away from making the final of the South East Counties with a convincing 3-0 win over local rivals London FA. A brace from Dillon Cole and a superb individual effort from skipper Billy Lewins in the first half proved enough for Kent, who in truth never really looked like conceding at AFC Croydon.

All it all it was a thoroughly professional performance from Kent, who dominated the match in the first half and build a commanding lead while in the second half they were able to keep London at arm’s length to ease their way to 3 points.

The win was the under 18s third in their four competitive matches this season, and are now unbeaten in 6 South East Counties matches, dating back to May 2016. This season’s competition the league was split into 2 groups, with the winner of each group going through to play in a final. Kent was placed in group A along with current FA County Youth Cup holders Middlesex FA, London FA and Essex FA. After winning our first 2 matches, victory at home to Essex FA in their final group match will secure a place in the final, set to take place in April.
