We are delighted to announce the two winners from November’s Magic of the Cup Competition, supported by Kent Reliance.

Congratulations to Tunbridge Wells FC and K Sports FC U18s are our November #MagicOfTheCup winners!

With a whole range of moments to pick from, Kent Reliance selected these two clubs as our November winners.

For Tunbridge Wells Football Club, their Kent Reliance Senior Trophy match against Sevenoaks Town FC was a big deal. This match is known locally as the A21 derby, as it pits two clubs who are a stone throw from each other and compete in the same league against each other.

Despite a lack of success in the league this season so far, Tunbridge Wells FC held their own against SCEFL league leaders, (and hoping for promotion) Sevenoaks Town FC and made it through to the Quarter Finals of the Kent Reliance Senior Trophy.

With Tunbridge Wells stalwart Perry Spackman drilling home the only goal of the game on 27mins, Sevenoaks spent a large part of the match trailing their local competitor, and were unable to get the ball into the net.

A final positive from this game for Tunbridge Wells, meant it saw the light at the end of the tunnel for the 5 players from the club participating in Movember, and growing their facial hair in the name of charity!

K Sports U18s definitely experienced the #MagicOfTheCup in their U18 Boys cup match at the end of November.

Despite going up against a strong Dover Athletic side, who are top of the league they play in, the odds were stacked against K Sports. 

So to have turned the football on its head, and knocked a former finalist out of the competition at the quarter final stage is a huge achievement and a true #MagicOfTheCup performance from K Sports FC!

As the winners of November’s #MagicOfTheCup, both teams are to receive football equipment on behalf of Kent Reliance our County Cup sponsors. Congratulations to both teams.
