New Football Development Assistant Appointed

Kent FA welcomes Harry Burgess as our new Football Development Assistant.

Kent FA is delighted to announce the appointment of Harry Burgess as our new Football Development Assistant.

Harry brings with him experience and knowledge of football development having graduated from the University of Birmingham where he received a first-class honours degree studying Sport, PE and Coaching Science. 

With full responsibility for the leadership and development of our Walking Football provision throughout Kent, including the Kent FA Walking Football League and County Cup, Harry will play a key role by providing more flexible formats of football through the delivery of the FA Mars JustPlay programme.

Lee Suter, Football Development Manager, said: “Harry will bring a fresh approach to the development team and drive Walking Football forward. He has a great understanding of grassroots football in Kent and we look forward to him developing into a key asset of the Kent FA.”

Suter added: "Kent FA has played a proactive role in supporting and developing Walking Football and we have a tremendous opportunity to grow this provision further and continue to diversify opportunities for everyone that wants to play the game.”
