Kent FA To Host Mental Health CPD Session In January
Kent FA is delighted to announce details of a CPD session taking place in January, which will focus on the subject of mental health.
Hosted at Kent FA’s headquarters at Invicta House in Aylesford, our Mental Health CPD session will be presented by our County Coach Developer, Simon Millington on Saturday 25 January from 9.00am until 12.00pm.
The session will follow the Mental Health Youth Aware course material, which is Mental Health First Aid England’s introductory course to mental health.
The workshop has been designed to help attendees to:
- Define mental health and emotional wellbeing
- Relate to young people’s experiences
- Recognise some of the signs of mental health distress
- Start a supporting conversation about mental ill health
- Practice self-care
There are only 25 places available on the session, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
