Kent FA and Medway Sport team up to deliver new 5-a-side competition!

A new 5v5 Football league has started at Strood Sports Centre, the league will take place on Wednesday evenings right through until a February finals week.

Following the first season the league will then restart early March to provide another season of 5v5 Football.

Aptly named ‘Strood 5s’ the new opportunity to provide Football has been one which has seen Kent FA and Medway Sport increase their partnership working.

Jack Jacobs of Kent FA said “Strood 5s has come from a good understanding of what Football provision we needed to bring back to the Sports Centre.

We are happy to work with Medway Sport to create another quality league in which adults can enjoy Football.”

Medway Sport say this league is a great opportunity for adults to get to play Football in a sociable environment outside of the traditional 11-a-side game.

We are continuing to grow the league and offer new teams a chance to join!
