From recreational football to competitive matches, both the Kent FA and Technical Surfaces understand how important it is for players to have confidence in their 3G pitch, both as a quality playing surface and in terms of health & safety. This is also a key element for our new three-year strategy, Play – Protect – Promote.

Lee Suter, Football Development Manager says, "Technical Surfaces are experts in ensuring pitches remain at the highest standard, and this exciting partnership will allow every 3G pitch operator to receive support and services from one of the leading companies in the Country."

Quality assurance is increasingly fundamental to 3G pitch provision, and the best example of this is the FA 3G Pitch Register – the definitive list of all 3G Pitches in England with FIFA or FA approved classification. A pitch can only be listed on the 3G Register if it meets certain performance criteria, which in turn is only achieved through a sustained programme of specialist and routine maintenance.

Tom Nott from Technical Surfaces comments: “Technical Surfaces are proud to be supporting the Kent community with the 3G pitches, providing expert maintenance, indicative performance testing and technical support. We already work with 22 Kent pitches and look forward to supporting many more in Kent. We are honoured to be in partnership with Kent”.
