Kent FA Support England Football Accredited With Virtual Roadshows

Football leagues and clubs accredited by The FA have positively changed the football landscape over the last 20 years

Football leagues and clubs accredited by The FA have positively changed the football landscape over the last 20 years, creating the ideal environments to nurture players, coaches and volunteers.

The result is greater diversity and inclusivity throughout football. England Football Accreditation replaces The FA Charter Standard and is the next chapter in this amazing story as we unite even more communities by supporting Leagues and Clubs over the next 10 years.

Kent FA recently ran online roadshows for its member clubs and leagues to ensure they fully understand the switch from Charter Standard and what it means to them, as quite often they are the focal points of their communities. The transition is an automatic process for those that are already Charter Standard and will be open for non-accredited clubs and leagues from the end of November. The star that a club achieves and is then recognised for, demonstrates that they have football teams within their set-up that support the three accredited player pathways. It helps the FA and Kent FA to align the relevant support and services you need to become the best version of your Club.

Jack Jacobs, Kent FA’s Football Development Officer for adult football said:

Following The FA's recent launch of the new England Football Accreditation, Kent FA decided there was no better time to host dedicated clubs and league workshops. Over the last six weeks, we have held three online workshops for these groups in the County. These workshops have also been commended by The FA for being the first county in the country to do so.

This demonstrates Kent FA’s commitment to supporting the football community to be inclusive, fun, safe and sustainable. With a strong communicative approach, we hope our Development Team will be able to support your own club or league to be a part of this great accreditation
.”

No matter how big your league or club is, England Football Accredited shows you're making a difference to your community. It's for leagues and clubs that offer male, female or disability football from U7s to open age. Ensuring that your club or league is accredited means they follow the necessary safeguards and checks both on and off the pitch to create an environment that is suitable for all in their pathway.
