Register Now For Our Next Get Into Refereeing Workshop

Interested in becoming a referee - this is the great first step!

KENT FA IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT ASPIRING REFEREES ACROSS THE COUNTY CAN NOW REGISTER FOR OUR FORTHCOMING ONLINE GET INTO REFEREEING WORKSHOPS.

Hosted by Kent FA’s referee department, the online workshop is perfectly suited for anybody across the county interested in getting involved in refereeing.

The online workshop is designed to give all aspiring referees an insight of the types of courses available, the requirement needed to complete the course, what refereeing involves and the challenges that could be faced as a match official.

The workshop is approximately 90 minutes in duration, during which participants will be guided through the refereeing experience, looking at all formats of the game and the opportunities available within the county. If you decide to begin your refereeing journey here, the Referee Course (9v9 and/or 11v11 football) will only be a few weeks away.

Following successful attendance at one of these workshops, an individual will be able to then enrol onto a Referee Course. The links of future referee courses will be provided after attendance at this workshop.

Kent FA requires a parent/guardian of all candidates 17-years-old and younger to attend this workshop, to gain a full insight and understanding of the commitment required to complete all aspects. Any accompanying adult does not need to book on the course or pay if they are not going to proceed with becoming a referee themselves.

Current workshop dates:

Wednesday 08th December 2021 (5pm start)
Saturday 18th December 2021 (9am start)
Wednesday 05th January 2022 (5pm start)
Saturday 15th January 2022 (9am start)
Friday 28th January 2022 (5pm start)
