Licensed Football Providers Programme

A programme to support, safeguard and regulate external coaching providers

Working in partnership with The FA, Kent FA are one of five County FA’s nationally to be piloting a programme that if successful will be being rolled out across the County FA network in the coming seasons. The programme aims to safeguard, support and regulate external coaching providers.

Applying to be a Licensed Football Provider within Kent will mean your organisation will be one of only a few nationally as part of the pilot to obtain the newly recognised accreditation.

To become a Licensed Football Provider you are required to meet a mandatory criteria and optional criteria that will place your organisation on a three-tiered level at a gold, silver or bronze level. Once a provider obtains Licensed Football Provider status, then assuming they continue to re-affiliate each season, they keep it, however they are subject to random safeguarding validation visits to ensure they continue to maintain standards and provide a safe and inclusive environment.

Applications to become a provider run from June to September each season and the application form that you can find below contains all the information that you need to start the process. Once completed, please send the form and your accompanying documentation to Development@KentFA.com

As always, Kent FA are here to support you in achieving this recognition, and we will provide templates and advice along the way, please contact us if you require any assistance.
