DFDS Kent Junior C Cup Final: Woodnesborough 1 Bocca Juniors 2
Bocca Juniors passed their way to success in the DFDS Kent Junior C Cup Final against Woodnesborough.
Striker Alfie Prior netted twice in the first 22 minutes. His opener came on four minutes, turning in Ryan Prior’s deep left-wing cross.
The lead was doubled when Jamal James strode forward from defence and the same combination worked again as Ryan Prior played in player-of-the-match Alfie Prior, who cleverly finished after grounding keeper Jordan Wing.
It was harsh on Wing, who had an excellent game in goal - producing a series of impressive saves as Bocca moved the ball around well on the 3G surface at the Gallagher Stadium.
The dynamic of the game changed just before the hour when Robson Hulks ran clean through and finished into the bottom corner.
A late corner was cleared off the line but Bocca comfortably saw the game out.
