Cup Final Match Summary: Metrogas 2-0 Unique Football Academy

Two-goal Zak Pescatore struck in the first half as Metrogas took full advantage of a strong wind on their way to lifting the trophy.

Playing with the wind in the first half, Pescatore turned in Yannis Sissuh’s right-wing cross and then tucked away Ryan Dioylo’s through ball as Metrogas netted twice inside nine minutes to take control.

They nearly added a third before the break but a last-ditch tackle by Max Robinson denied player-of-the-match Pescatore a clear sight of goal.

Unique had more of the ball after the break, with the conditions in their favour, but they were unable to find a way through. Their best chance saw Malachi White escape the defence but his final shot lacked power.
