Kent FA is thrilled to announce an innovative and dynamic new partnership with 3G testing company Sports Labs. This collaboration signifies the County FA's commitment and dedication to elevating the standards of 3G pitches across Kent. 

Since 1998, Sports Labs has been an independent sports technology test house for lab-based and field testing in sports with accreditations to certify sports surfaces or technology to national and international standards. 

But what does this mean for Kent? 

Aidan Ainsley, Facilities and Investment Lead at Kent FA explains, "All 3G football pitches must be listed on The FA 3G Pitch Register and be tested to the required performance standard either every three years or annually depending on the level of football the pitch is servicing. Sports Labs are a leading 3G pitch test house and as part of this exciting new collaboration, they will provide annual site testing at discounted rates, year-round support, and expertise regarding testing and certification to all Kent 3G pitch sites. On top of this, Sports Labs will provide an annual webinar to support facility providers with the testing and certification process. We are truly excited about this partnership to ensure 3G pitches across our county are safe and good quality environments for football while providing vital cost savings for the facility providers."
