DFDS are great supporters of the Kent Green United initiative. Climate action is a strategic priority within the company, with targets of a 45% reduction in CO2 emissions from ferries by 2030 and to be climate neutral by 2050. They believe that we all must contribute towards a cleaner environment for all, and within DFDS, they aim to reduce pollution, waste, and noise in the communities where they operate. Together, we have big potential to make a positive difference by reducing our environmental impact.

DFDS is offering the whole Kent football community a 10% discount on all ferry bookings when you use the link below.

The Kent Resource Partnership is between the Kent district councils and Kent County Council (KCC). They collect discarded household materials in Kent, and KCC deals with what happens to them afterwards. They look at how we can improve waste management in Kent as a group.

Since being founded in 2009, Kits4Causes has collected tens of thousands of items of unwanted football equipment and redistributed it to social development programs worldwide. Whether it is an out-grown replica shirt or a complete Sunday league kit, all donations are welcome and grateful received. Kits4Causes has sent over 75,000 shirts to over 50 countries, giving your kits a new life.

Does your club have an old kit that could be used and donated overseas? Then Kit4Causes can help.

You can donate up to 20kg of old kit for FREE using DHL.

Head over to kits4causes.org/donate and follow the instructions.

After you use your date of birth on the Order Reference, please add KGU, For example, 13011981KGU. This allows Kit4Causes to track your donation. But remember to keep a tally of how much you donate across the season (total weight of donations in kilograms so we can contribute it to reduced landfill at the end of the season).

Veolia support the Kent FA’s Green United league through their Sustainability Fund.

They have supported a number of impactful projects over the years that have empowered communities to make positive changes to the environment, and their partnership with Kent FA Green United will enable them to bring many more community groups on the journey towards ecological transformation.
