As a Player, there are many opportunities for you to play our national game in Kent, whatever your age, gender, ability, race, culture or background.

In addition to the introduction below, you can find out lots more useful information by selecting from the drop down menu located on the ‘Players’ tab on the home page.

Football and Kent have a long and proud history together so, as you would expect from a county that is so passionate about the game, there are no shortage of different forms of football for you to get involved in. From the small-sided game, such as Mini-Soccer for young children taking their first steps in the game, to Futsal and of course the hugely popular five-a-side, to the more traditional eleven-a-side game.

More than 45,000 people play and enjoy football in Kent every week. There are more than 4,500 teams that make up the membership of Kent FA, all involved in regular league football.

In addition, you can also find out how to get involved in football on a more casual basis through our partnership with the FA Mars ‘Just Play’ scheme and through several recognised small sided football centre’s across the county. Kent FA is  committed to providing opportunities to play the game we all love in every community.

It’s never too late to start playing football. Check out the Find a Club locator on the right hand side of the page and contact a club near you, or if you would like some more advice contact the Football Development Team at Kent FA on 01622 792140
