PITCHES AND 3G PITCHES 

Around 87% of affiliated football matches are played on grass pitches, but with over 150,000 matches cancelled due to poor pitch quality, play is often brought to a halt. That's why The FA, Premier League and UK Government's sports charity, the Football Foundation is on a mission to improve 20,000 grass pitches by 2030 to ensure the 12 million grassroots players have great environments for football.

Additionally, the requirement for sufficient numbers of 3G artificial grass pitches to support winter training is equally important. The number of 3G pitches across the country is growing, but whilst many more hours of play can be delivered on a 3G pitch, effective maintenance regimes are critical to their longevity.
