Support Female Volunteers Involved in Kent Grassroots Football

This unique forum, kindly supported by our Community Investment Partner, BAE Systems, has been developed to provide a voice for female volunteers; a supportive network to meet like-minded women; and inspirational events featuring female leaders within their specialist areas of the beautiful game.

So, who is this event for? Everyone

Whether you are a female volunteer already involved in the game, or you may be looking to start your volunteering journey, or perhaps you are a club or league who wants to understand how to support your volunteers better, the Kent Female Volunteer Forum is here for you.

International Women's Day Event

When: Monday 4th March 2024 (7pm-9:30pm)

Where: Ashford International Hotel

This will be an inspirational evening of female volunteers and leaders within the grassroots game. Hosted by friend of Kent FA, Charlotte Richardson, we have a fantastic panel sharing their incredible journeys. Joining us on the night are Katie Higgins (Safeguarding Case Manager at The FA), Lou Saunders (National Referee Manager at The FA), Natalie Benville (Chair of Deal & Kent FA board), and Natalie Curtis (Academy Manager London City Lionesses). There will also be an opportunity to network with like-minded women from across the Kent game. 

End of Season Celebration Evening

When: Friday 21st June 2024 (7pm-9pm)

Where: Priestfield Stadium - home of Gillingham Football Club

Join us at the home of Gillingham Football Club, Priestfield Stadium, where we will bring Kent’s female volunteers together for one last time this season to inspire, share, and celebrate their journeys and accomplishments within the game.
