DISABILITY AWARENESS

When: Monday 17th April 2023 at 7:00-9:00 PM 

Where: Kent FA, Invicta House, Cobdown Park, London Road, Ditton, Near Aylesford, Kent, ME20 6DQ

This workshop aims to understand how to manage behaviour, Identify specific impairments, explore the STEP principle and its use and demonstrate how to adapt your sessions through the delivery of a practical session, led by Jeff Davis.

DEVELOPING ON THE PITCH FOR COACHES FROM UNDEREPRESENTED COMMUNITIES

When: Saturday 20th May 2023 at 12:00-2:00 PM

Where: The Victory Academy, Magpie Hall Rd, Chatham, Kent, ME4 5JB

Cost: FREE for Kent FA Coaches Club Members (£5 non-members)

This workshop is designed to provide coaches, in particular from underrepresented communities with greater access to development and networking opportunities and to explore digging deeper into understanding of their players and the game they play, this event will be led by Danny Fenner.

SMALL-SIDED GAMES VARIATIONS AND CHALLENGES

When: Tuesday 6th June 2023 at 7:00-9:00 PM

This event will break down what small-sided games are, the rationale behind them, the benefits and how the implementation of challenges and variations into small-sided games can enhance creativity, decision making and problem-solving in relation to the 4 corners, led by David Webb.

SUPPORTING PLAYERS THROUGH DIFFERENT GAME FORMATS

This event will explore key considerations for the different formats of the game (including 5v5, 7v7, 9v9, 11v11), utilising your practice and match daytime effectively to help prepare for the next step and how to support your players across the 4 corners ahead of progressing to the next format, led by Daniel Fenner.

The England Football Learning platform offers some fantastic online courses, that will provide coaches with accredited CPD hours to maintain qualifications without having to leave the house, including Creative Attacking Play and How Do You Approach Match Day?

Below are some instructions of how to access the 20 insightful, informative and thought provoking CPD courses and modules:

1. To access any CPD module or to search for a specific topic, head to FA Learning.

2. Once you have searched for a topic, click on the CPD module/course you want to complete.

3. This will take you to a login page where you will be asked to login with the email connected to your FAN and password.

4. Once signed in you will go to the CPD course/module landing page where you will be able to read more about the course/module and launch it by clicking enrol.
