KENT FA IS COMMITTED TO IMPROVING GRASS PITCHES!

The Kent FA more than ever is looking to improve the playing experience of thousands of players across the County by improving grass pitches.

The ambitious 3-year target of improving over 350 grass pitches is one that sits at the heart of the new Kent FA strategy and will be underpinned by funding, guidance and face to face support from experts.

The Kent FA will be working in partnership with the Football Foundation and the Grounds Management Association to deliver expert insight and financial support including the launch of a number of key resources listed below:

PITCHPOWER ASSESSMENT TOOL
PitchPower is a mobile tool that is making it easy to carry out pitch inspections. Once you have completed the assessment you will a detailed assessment report from ground’s management experts with recommendations on improving the quality of your grass pitches.

GRASS PITCH MAINTENANCE FUND
The Grass Pitch Maintenance Fund provides eligible clubs and leagues with a tapered six-year grant to help them sustain pitches already at a 'good' level and enhance pitches that are either considered 'poor' or 'basic'.

GRASS PITCH IMPROVEMENT HUB – Search ‘Kent FA’
This free platform provides both professional and volunteer groundskeepers with tips and insights from experts to support the improvement of grass pitches in Kent

PITCH IMPROVEMENT CHANNEL
Our YouTube Channel provides a resource of expert advice for grounds staff, enabling them to discover new tips and tricks and funding advice in order to improve grass pitches in Kent.
