DFDS Kent Women’s Plate Final: Sevenoaks Town FC Ladies 1  Sittingbourne Ladies First 2

Two Maddison Massey second-half penalties saw Sittingbourne edge past Sevenoaks in the Kent Women’s Plate Final at Maidstone’s Gallagher Stadium.

Massey struck twice, the second time in the dying moments after Sevenoaks’ Ellie Hyner had been sent off, to ensure Ami Wybrow’s strike proved only a consolation in their 2-1 defeat.

The most notable action of the first half saw Sittingbourne's Kiera Madden hobble off inside the first five minutes.

Massey converted her first spot after a handball and, despite Whybrow slotting home skipper Natalie Graves' through-ball to level on 83 minutes, Massey was at it again six minutes later from 12 yards after defender Hyner had fouled Sian Boswell.
