The Merit Under-15 Boys Cup Final: Bromley 2 Maidstone United 0 (AET)

It needed extra-time to separate Bromley and Maidstone with the former scoring at the end of each half to take the honours at Sheppey’s Holm Park.

A goalless opening 80 minutes saw chances for both sides. Player-of-the-match George Hill made some excellent stops for Bromley while Ashley Tshitenga had a couple of openings at the other end.

Eventually the breakthrough came when Tshitenga drove forward and fired beyond keeper Lucas Brookman.

The tie was wrapped up with virtually the last kick of the contest as Tshitenga led a Bromley break and Kian Downey had the simple task of scoring into an empty net.
