This competition is for Veteran's Football teams who participate in affiliated Kent football and has been entered by 68 teams in the 2022/23 football season.

THE DFDS Kent Veterans Cup Final: Herne Bay Vets 3 Glebe Vets 4

Glebe won an entertaining Kent Veterans Final at the Gallagher Stadium against Herne Bay.

The match finished 4-3 to Glebe but it was Herne Bay who opened the scoring through Sean Hetterley before goals from Terry Butcher and Freddie Fleming turned the tie on its head.

Glebe went 3-1 up early in the second half through man-of-the-match Warren Killick but Hetterley netted again for Bay to keep them in the contest. A second of the night from Killick made it 4-2 but an own-goal ensured both teams were at it up to the final whistle.

The match was played 10 versus 10 during the final half hour as player from each team was dismissed following an altercation.
