11v11 Adult Team Funding Open

Kent FA is pleased to launch a new funding scheme to support the growth and retention of 11v11 male football teams.

What is the funding for?

• Existing Kent FA affiliated FA Charter Standard Clubs to create new 11v11 adult male football teams for the 2018/19 season.

Or

• Existing Kent FA 11v11 adult male football teams joining Kent FA Charter Standard Clubs for the 2018/19 season.

The fund cannot be used towards existing teams already part of an FA Charter Standard Club.


The deadline for applications is 1 March 2018.

How much is the funding?
Successful applicants will receive a grant of £750 per team. Clubs may be required to contribute some elements of cost towards to the new teams.

What can the funding be used for?
Clubs can spend the money on anything from kit, coach education, referees, league fees and facility hire. Please be specific in your application.

Who should the application be completed by?
The applicant should be an official of the FA Charter Standard Club who will be registering the team for the 2018/19 season. For example if you are an existing 11v11 male adult team who will be using the funding to join an FA Charter Standard Club; it is the FA Charter Standard Club who should complete the application form.

Why is FA Charter Standard the focus?
FA Charter Standard Clubs have a proven record at demonstrating high levels of retention of players as well as clear pathways and governance.

Can veterans and Under-21 teams apply?
Yes. Any team that will be registered as an 11v11 male adult team for the 2018/19 season and meets the criteria can apply.
