Kent FA Ladies Start With Success!
Despite a half time locked in deadlock against Jersey FA, the Kent Ladies came back from a goal behind to win 2-1.
A strong first half performance from the Kent Ladies had held Jersey to a goalless first half.
The start of the second half was full of chances, with Jersey FA’s Anita Tavares scoring first for the visitors.
The lead was short lived though, after a Kent FA corner taken by Captain Amy Russ was converted by Vanisha Patel. Then before the final whistle Darcey Charlesworth netted the winner on her debut playing for Kent.
It’s an important three points to ensure a solid start for Kent FA in the Southern Counties Competition.
The Kent Ladies team are next in action away to Sussex FA on Wednesday 7th November.
