Pride Fives League Launching in Canterbury

Kent FA is pleased to announce the very first Kent FA Pride Fives will be launching next month.
Pride Fives aims to provide opportunities for all members of the LGBT+ community to enjoy football. The project has been set up by Kent FA with the ethos to provide fun and social football for all.
While the league will be LGBT+ Friendly, it will be open to anybody who wishes to attend regardless of gender and sexuality, meaning we hope to see LGBT+ individuals and their allies coming together to enjoy the game so many of us love.
The league will have a ZERO tolerance rule regarding discrimination.
The 5v5 set up allows for a wider variation in ability and fitness level than traditional 11-a-side football therefore should cater for all abilities and ages creating a league with inclusivity at its heart.
This 5-a-side weekly competition will be based at The Spitfire Ground in Canterbury on the 3G surface. Starting on the 8th May teams will play 1x 30 minutes fixture a week, with the first week as an introduction to the league and the following 5 weeks will be official league matches. Kick off times will be either 6.00pm, 6.40pm or 7.20pm on Wednesday evenings.
FREE registration – no upfront costs and insurance included.
The first week will be FREE and the other 5 weeks will be at a discounted price of £20 per team per match.
