Join Kent FA For Our BAME Referee Support & Discussion Evening

All members of the Kent grassroots football community are welcome.

Kent FA is delighted to be supporting a BAME Referee Support Group discussion forum, in partnership with The FA, Professional Game Match Official Limited (PGMOL) and Kick It Out!

An evening of debate on the topic of BAME referee representation, recruitment, retention and support will take place at Dartford Football Club’s Princess Park Stadium on Thursday 23 January between 6.00pm and 9.00pm.

BAME Referee Support and DiscussionThe evening is open to ALL participants within the game, regardless of background or role.

We will be welcoming all guests, including senior representatives from the professional game’s referee department and agencies, leading figures from key stakeholders for diversity and equality organisations, and referees from many southern County FAs.

The night also has a fantastic panel line-up, who will add fascinating insight into the evening’s discussions on their refereeing experiences.

Places on the evening are completely FREE OF CHARGE.

“This is a great opportunity for many participants in the game to share experiences and to help support the recruitment, retention and development of match officials,” said Kent FA’s Referee Development Officer, Nick Dunn.

“Not only are we welcoming referees to attend, but wish to open this evening up to any manager, coach, player or parent who may be interested.”

Please register your attendance to secure your place, as this is a guest-listed event.
