Kent FA Pitch Advisor Wanted!
The Kent FA is seeking to recruit a Pitch Advisor to support the delivery of the FA Pitch Improvement Programme in Kent.
The role will encompass of meeting with Kent FA affiliated clubs and local authorities to raise standards of grass football pitches and support those who look after sites to gather a better understanding of sports turf management practices.
Candidates should have excellent interpersonal, communication and IT skills, be well organised and able to demonstrate a clear knowledge and understanding of turf care with a proven background in sports turf management. Knowledge of turf care and the structure of sport, especially football would be considered an advantage.
The role will report directly to the Institute of Groundsmanship Regional Pitch Advisor and will work closely with the Kent FA Football Development Management. The Pitch improvement Programme is supported by the Football Association and The Football Foundation.
The successful applicate will be expected to carry out FA Pitch Improvement visits to Kent FA affiliated clubs and local authorities as and when notified by the Kent FA Football Development Manager.
The Pitch Advisor will be paid £100 per pitch improvement visit as well as expenses.
