Kent FA Referee Promotions Celebrated!
We are delighted to announce this season’s promotion and significant appointments, celebrating refereeing in Kent!
This time of the season proves to be a rewarding period for many match officials, as the attached document shows. As well as rewarding 80 match officials on our own County Cups, we have had many officials across the higher levels of the game rewarded with significant appointments to several key end-of-season fixtures. For Kent’s match officials to be recognised, in this way, by the FA and relevant Leagues is credit to those selected. It is fantastic to have many of our referees rewarded across all levels of the game, and goes to show that hard work, determination and ability are key, contributing factors in being successful.
Whilst it is positive that many have been rewarded with key appointments, it is also pleasing to see so many match officials being promoted across all levels of the game. Hopefully these appointments and promotions can act as a catalyst for other match officials, and to act as a mechanism to drive future performances , enhance standards and show others how to reach their potential.
Nick Dunn, Kent FA’s Referee Development Officer said “This is a fantastic achievement for all those concerned and we send our congratulations to everyone. Importantly, we thank all 1,600 Match Officials for their continued support and commitment to servicing the game”.
