Kent FA

Update from Darryl Haden, Chief Executive - 02-04-2020

Please see below a statement issued today (2 April 2020) from Kent FA CEO, Darryl Haden.

Dear all,

Firstly, I hope you are all safe, well and keeping positive whilst we battle against this unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic together.

Following an emergency Kent FA Board meeting held on Wednesday 1st April 2020, I am writing to advise you on updated actions.

With effect from 5pm on Friday 3rd April 2020, all Kent FA staff, except those listed below, will be on furlough leave* until Sunday 31st May 2020

Darryl Haden - Chief Executive / Senior Safeguarding Lead
Richard Judd – Deputy CEO / Football Services Manager
Lee Suter – Football Development Manager
Paula Lippett – Finance Officer
Jordon Mann - Marketing & Partnerships Manager

*Furlough leave is a temporary leave of absence for economic reasons and is designed to protect jobs in the long term. These members of staff will not be contactable until the COVID-19 situation changes. No member of staff will be financially disadvantaged during their period of furlough leave. Following consultation, our workforce is supportive of this decision and look forward to returning to work at the earliest possible opportunity.
