Kent FA to Host Online Get Into Refereeing Workshops in December and January

Aspiring referees can find out more about becoming a referee through a series of online workshops.

Kent FA are pleased to confirm that we will now be holding a number of ONLINE ‘Get into Refereeing’ (GIR) workshops in December 2020 and January 2021.

Completing this pre-requisite online workshop will then permit you to enrol onto a forthcoming referee course; details of forthcoming ‘GIR’ workshops are detailed below;

  • Friday 4th December 2020 @ 6pm
  • Saturday 5th December 2020 @ 9:30am
  • Thursday 10th December 2020 @ 4pm
  • Monday 14th December 2020 @ 6pm
  • Monday 4th January 2020 @ 6pm
  • Wednesday 20th January 2020 @ 6pm

All workshops will last approximately 2 hours.

To enrol, you must enter your own FAN number, or create one if you do not have one.

If you are booking on behalf of somebody else, please ensure you enter the details of the candidate who wishes to enrol onto the course, and not your own!

Once enrolled, you will be sent a link for an online ‘Teams’ Meeting, which you can access from any computer/laptop/smartphone/tablet device.

If you do not yet have Microsoft Teams on any of these devices, it may be worth downloading in advance of the session.

Course dates for January 2021 are currently being organised, and will be subject to any new Government restrictions that come in.

Course dates will be shared as soon as they are organised, and will be sent to the those who have attended the ‘GiR’ workshop.

Courses last for two full days, predominantly on weekends; they will need to run on a minimum of 12 candidates, and cost per candidate will be £135.
