Partnership with Technical Surfaces renewed

The partnership has been extended for the next three years

We are thrilled to announce the renewal of our partnership with Technical Surfaces, our exclusive 3G Maintenance partner, which has been extended for the next three years.

Technical Surfaces understand how important it is for players to have confidence in their 3G pitch, both as a quality playing surface and in terms of health & safety. Quality assurance is increasingly fundamental to 3G pitch provision. The best example is the FA 3G Pitch Register – the definitive list of all 3G Pitches in England with FIFA or FA-approved classification. A pitch can only be listed on the 3G Register if it meets certain performance criteria, achieved through a sustained programme of specialist and routine maintenance.

Aidan Ainsley, Kent FA Facilities and Investment Lead, said: "Technical Surfaces are experts in ensuring pitches remain at the highest standard, and this partnership will allow every 3G pitch operator to receive specialist support and services from one of the leading companies in the country. As well as promoting their brilliant seasonal guide to help clubs get the most from their pitches, we will also be hosting several workshops throughout the partnership."

Tom Nott from Technical Surfaces comments: "We are delighted to continue our working relationship with Kent FA, and are proud of the 3G pitch maintenance support, guidance and services that we have already delivered in partnership with Kent FA to a number of clubs locally. Looking forward, we are particularly excited about engaging further with the local clubs as part of a programme of 3G pitch workshops planned for 2023, designed to support the clubs in the maintenance and management of their 3G facilities.”
