The Merit Group continues youth football support for third season
We are thrilled to announce that The Merit Group will continue supporting grassroots youth football as our Youth County Cups Partner for 2023/24. Since our partnership began in 2021, The Merit Group's passion and enthusiasm for the beautiful game have shone through, and we feel very privileged to continue this exciting partnership.
The Merit Group provides many services, including office installations, managed print, voice and data, and IT solutions. But their fantastic family ethos running through the heart of the business cements them as a tremendous partner for Kent football.
The Merit Group has solidified its commitment to youth football in Kent by continuing its partnership with The Kent FA as the Youth County Cups Partner for a third season. The Kent Youth County Cups have earned a reputation as a prestigious, must-enter competition for youth teams across the county. Teams who enter are given the opportunity to compete in cup or plate competitions with the chance to take home historical silverware. The partnership between The Merit Group and The Kent FA will help create and enhance these playing opportunities for more youth teams across the county.
Darryl Haden, Kent FA's Chief Executive, comments, "As we enter this partnership for a third season with The Merit Group, we have been blown away by their continued support and passion that colleagues across the company have for grassroots football. Since we started working with The Merit Group, they have helped with video draws, supported our events, joined our Grassroots Football Awards Judging Panel, and physically attended over 24 youth Cup Finals across the two previous seasons. We couldn't ask for a more proactive partner, and we look forward to another incredible season together."
Mike Newton, Director at The Merit Group, explains what the partnership means to the team at The Merit Group "The Kent FA organise and facilitates amazing grassroots football competitions for our young people, and we are proud to continue our partnership with them. Working with the Kent FA for the last two seasons and, more importantly, supporting the youth teams as they compete in their various competitions has been a pleasure. We look forward to watching them continue building and growing next season."
