Episode 3 of Kent Football Show (Women & Girls Takeover) launches today

Proudly showcasing the female game across Kent.

We are excited to announce that the third and final episode of the Kent Football Show for 2022/23 will go live at 2pm today.

You can enjoy the show on our YouTube channel (@TheKentFA) and or on our website here.

Presented by Sky Sports' Kweku Afari, this action-packed Women & Girls Takeover shines a light on players, clubs, leagues, volunteers, and, of course, match officials from across the grassroots game in Kent. We have something for everyone, so make sure you tune in.

Coming up on the show:

  • We speak to Kent and England superstar Alessia Russo to learn about her journey from grassroots football to the professional game.
  • There's behind-the-scenes action from Kent referees Kirsty Dowle and Lou Saunders at the DFDS Kent Senior Cup Final at the MEMS Priestfield Stadium.
  • Kent FA's Jeff Davies catches up with the Kent & Girls Ladies Football Leagues.
  • We head down to Sellindge Ladies FC to meet Gina Kendall, who we believe is the only female grounds person in Kent.
  • We learn about the HerGameToo movement and how clubs can get involved.
  • Rebecca Moore catches up with Rising Stars FC to learn about their Squad Girls provision.
  • It wouldn't be a show without David Webb's Skills and drills.
  • Then it's back to Rebecca Moore for an update on the ONLY Emerging Talent Centre for girls in Kent.
  • We give you our top goals from this season's female Cup Finals.
  • Lastly, Dartford Women take on the Crossbar Challenge.

It will be an incredible show, so click here to enjoy our final episode of the season.
