Meet Our Partner, Sleeping Giant Media
In 2021, we joined forces with award-winning digital marketing agency Sleeping Giant Media, who have embraced Kent's incredible volunteers who make the grassroots game fantastic across the county.
Since the partnership began, Sleeping Giant Media has supported nearly 200 volunteers across the game, upskilling those responsible for their club or league social media to get the most from their channels. They have also sponsored the Digital Club Of The Year Award at our Grassroots Workforce Awards for the last two years, provided invaluable advice for volunteers, participated in our Business Sixes events, and attended Kent FA events. This partnership perfectly blends professional expertise with community engagement, creating a powerful synergy that positively impacts both Kent football and the community they serve.

For those who do not know much about SGM, can you tell us more about the company?

How many people do you employ in Kent?
"We currently employ 62 staff members in Kent; we also have a segment of our workforce operating remotely across the UK."
You are the Kent FA's Digital Media Partner – why did Sleeping Giant Media decide to support the Kent grassroots game?
"Our location in Kent and the first-hand exposure to grassroots football at various levels sparked the love for the sport in many of our employees. We aim to show our support for the game in the best way we can by contributing to its digital growth!"
What do you love most about mixing business with football?
"What we appreciate about blending football with our business is how it fosters a sense of togetherness among our team members and external partners. We've witnessed people forging connections through shared football affiliations. It injects a sense of enjoyment and friendly competition into our workplace. We love taking our GIANTS to live football matches, offering a glimpse into our colleagues' personalities beyond the office setting."

"Seeing all of the brilliant goals scored in the grassroots game being shared across social media, with clubs celebrating the successes of their players."
