Player-of-the-match Savannah O’Neill scored the decisive third goal as Kings Hill needed extra-time to finally overcome Aylesford at Maidstone’s Gallagher Stadium.

Kings Hill had raced into a two-goal lead after just six minutes as Sophie Marsh brilliantly fired home from 20 yards and then a dangerous Heidi Boxer corner went in off an unfortunate defender.

Aylesford pulled one back through Grace Garner’s penalty and were level early in the second half through Holly Reach’s header from an Emily Rowan centre.

It took just three minutes of extra-time for O’Neill to put Kings Hill back in front and they deservedly completed the win when the excellent Boxer fired home from distance.
