Register Now for Para Disability Talent ID Online Workshop

Places available now for online workshop taking place on 30 March.

Kent FA is hosting an online Para Disability Talent ID workshop on Tuesday 30th March at 7pm.

The workshop, to be run by The FA’s Para Disability Talent ID team, will help provide coaches with an understanding of recognising disability talent within both mainstream and disability football.

The FA Para-Football Talent Strategy details the need to identify players within mainstream education and community football settings who, for a variety of reasons, may not wish to be found.

One of these reasons is the lack of understanding in relation to the opportunity for a talented player to benefit from a dual pathway involvement (i.e. playing for their club whilst also being engaged in The FA’s Para-Football Talent Pathway).

The workshop will focus on and provide attendees with an understanding of:

  • Player pathways
  • Age, stage and classification
  • Eligibility and classification
  • Recognising talent/potential
  • International game format
  • Referral process
  • What can you do to help?
  • Action planning
