Kent FA's Annual Coaches Club, Coaches Conference and End of Season Celebration

Celebrating, Recognising & Inspiring Kent Football’s Coaches & Workforce!

On Thursday 16th May at Village Hotel Maidstone, Kent FA are delighted to be hosting the second annual Kent FA Coaches Club, Coaches Conference & End of Season Celebration 2023/24, for coaches and football workforce across Kent.

The event will celebrate, recognise and inspire the present and next generation of football coaches and workforce community across the County. This will be further enhanced through an array of special guest panellists made up of:

  • Ebun Thomas (Gillingham FC, Head of Coaching)
  • Manisha Tailor MBE (QPR FC, Head of Coaching)
  • Simon Copley (Arsenal FC, 12-14s Phase Lead)
  • Georgie Van Dijk (Brentford FC, U9s-U16s Academy Coach)
  • Danny Searle (Ebbsfleet United Manager)
  • Andy Woodman (Bromley FC Manager)
  • Louise Newstead (The PFA, Head of Coach Development)
  • Chris Solly (Ebbsfleet United 1st Team Player & Coach) 

They will be discussing supporting the next generation of players, creating a sustainable team environment and the journey through the beautiful game, hosted by talkSport’s Kweku Afari.

Organiser of the event David Webb, Kent FA Participation & Workforce Lead, said: “We are excited to be able to bring the Kent FA Coaches Club, Coaches Conference & End of Season Celebration back to Village Maidstone Hotel for the second year running. The event will present an opportunity for coaches and workforce across the county to obtain insight from professional experts and specialists in the industry that are developing our game, players and coaches, whilst we create an inclusive environment for all in attendance to connect, collaborate and network with other likeminded individuals.” David added that: “Events like this are important for us to ensure that our coaches and workforce, feel valued and recognised. Week in, week out, they effortlessly devote their time to the Kent grassroots football community, which helps in making our game fun, safe and inclusive for all.”
