Representative Football is an important part of the Kent FA’s remit and it is an honour to be called up to the county side. Kent FA offer opportunities for players to represent their county and compete against other counties and professional clubs.
Kent FA have enjoyed numerous successes throughout our history both at regional and national level. The U16’s have won the South East Counties Championship 4 times in the last 8 years and ahead of this year’s campaign. They have also won the competition a total of 6 times in the competitions history which began in 1972.
The U18’s won the same competition 4 times in the last 9 years, and are the second most successful county in this competition, winning it 10 times since its inception in 1952. The U18’s also play in the FA County Youth Cup, which they last won in 2010 against Sheffield & Hallamshire FA at Priestfield, home of Gillingham Football Club.
The Ladies compete in the Southern Counties Championship which they joined in 2012 and have won the competition twice. They also became the last winners of the East Anglian Counties league in 2017 before the demise of the competition.
